Playing for change

Playing for Change is a multimedia music project, created by the American producer and sound engineer Mark Johnson with his Timeless Media Group, that seeks to bring together musicians from around the world. Playing For Change also created a separate non-profit organization called the Playing For Change Foundation which builds music schools for children around the world.

It's a very good idea to use Playing for change to show diversity, collaboration and to appreciate the power of human sensitivity through music.

Human values and education

What are human values?

Traditional concept of human values

More than personal and cultural values

They are a set of absolute ethical values. Principle values which are the foundation for other values and measures of integrity, inspired upon universal concepts such as dignitiy or freedom.
Human values are occasionally in accordance with moral values, but they are bet interpreted as things that benefit the group of people, or person, perpetrating them. Although they are to some extent absolute and universal, human values are best understood in terms of openness to change and rights while moral values most of the times regard matters of right and wrong, prohibitions and are constant and unchanging.

Sometimes ideological or doctrinal (political or religious) values are referred to as 'human values'. Actually, it is possible to say that all of them are not one and the same thing. "Right" and "wrong" are not so easily changeable by the moods of society; for example, just because gays are much persecuted it doesn't make homosexuality wrong.
And it is important to note that they are concerned not only to social and cultural issues but also with the ways in which human beings relate to nature.
